To The End and Back

Light in the spaces I photograph reflect a certain type of solitude, one that is sought after as a refuge and embraced. I see the way light affects these spaces as emphasizing my aloneness in experiencing them. There is a bit of sombering poetry in the idea that brilliant sun can make you bristle with loneliness and a fog on a mountainside can feel like a warm embrace.
